Hi! I’m Harry.
I started by selling homemade comics to my dad’s coworkers, then designing my high school newspaper, The Charger Account. Both taught me to think about the person picking up what I'd made, and how my choices shaped what they took away.
Now I study cognitive science at Vanderbilt to understand how attention and expectations shape the way people use things. As AI takes on more of our work, I want to build tools that help people get their bearings: see what a system is doing, question it, and have a say in what happens next.
I’m currently exploring these questions through research, design, and turning ideas into tools people can use. I'm excited to keep turning these questions into products, especially where people and AI share the work.
